Captain Fist looked down at the clipboard in his large hands again, and then up at the figure behind the two way mirror in front of him. "This guy is named what? Ross?" He said, leaning towards his companion.
The Prince kept his pointed nose up as he replied "Yes. Ross Boughman I believe."
Fist looked down again. "He didn't write his superhero name." The captain leaned forward, pressing the button to speak into the room. "Hey, what do you want your superhero name to be? You didn't write one down."
The figure in front of him startled. Somewhat flabby, with a mustache and a short beard dusting his small chin, he looked around in seeming confusion. "Uh, what? What's going on? Why am I here?" He asked.
Captain Fist leaned back again in frustration. "Prince, this guy doesn't look like he can do anything. We have The Exploder coming in next, do we even need to consider this guy for the Guild of Heroes?"
"Under superpowers, he wrote "Telekinesis I guess, it seems the most versatile". If he does posses telekinesis, it would be most valuable." The Prince sighed.
Fist flipped through the file in his hands. Five foot nine, two hundred pounds. Thirty one years old... Intrests... Video games and watching movies? This can't be right, he thought.
Suddenly the figure in the room in front of him spoke. "I guess if I had to pick a superhero name it would be... I don't know. Supernova? That sounds cool. Can you guys tell me what I'm doing here?"
Fist looked over his average looking frame, his brown rimmed glasses and short dark brown hair. His T-shirt with some obscure video game reference "the beauty of this shirt fills you with determination" and his barely-trying jeans. He didn't look much like a superhero. Fist decided to just get it over with.
"Do you have any special abilities?" Fist asked, pushing the large red button again. "Especially the type that you might not normally talk about?"
"Um... I can write decently. I'd like to get better at it. Actually the main thing I need to work on is just doing it more often, putting more work in you know. It would be nice if I could actually use that skill to make money. Other than that, I guess I'm a pretty nice guy and I'm good at some video games. Oh, and if you want to talk about the dumb stuff in movies and TV shows I'm a great critic and theory crafter. Other than that, no not really."
Fist frowned, and rested his forehead on his hand. "Ugh, why did they bring in some average guy! Wasting my time." He looked again at the man. "Get him out of here."
